Abstract
This paper introduces the characteristics and observation methods of high-altitude and mountain weatherology, and analyzes its impact on climate change and natural disasters. Firstly, the concept and classification of high-altitude and mountain weatherology are introduced and then the observation methods of high-altitude and mountain weatherology are described. Then, the data of high-altitude and mountain weatherology observation and forecast are analyzed, and the role of high-altitude and mountain weatherology observation and forecast in climate change and natural disaster prevention and control is discussed, and some future research directions are proposed. This paper aims to provide reference and guidance for the observation and research of high-altitude and mountain weatherology, to provide scientific basis for the protection of high-altitude and mountain environments and the response to climate change.
